In support of humanity (is that too pretentious? probably)

(there is a 6,775,235,699/6,775,235,700 that I am not writing this post because of something that you said.  So if you don't want to read this rant about ignorance and poverty, you should just go read someone else's blog for awhile)

This is a picture that is to represent all of the poverty in the world.  There are a lot of dots and making each dot healthy and happy would be pretty difficult and overwhelming to do by yourself.

And for that reason, as a standard human being, what you have to do is you have to remember that each dot represents a person.

And each person is just as much of a person as you are.

So you should know that as much as you do to save them is as much as would be done to save you too.

So if you do decide to help that one person by paying $28.00 per month (hey that's only 3 hours and 42 minutes working at your crappy minimum wage job!) you're helping- and potentially saving the life of- someone who very easily could have been in your position while you stood in theirs.

And then that square of dots is a little less.  We've spent a lot of time this week talking about the death of just one man, a man who changed the world forever.  I think it's about time we realize that each of us is also one man, and we could change the world just as much and more than he ever did- but for the better.
You can make a difference!

(feliz cinco de mayo tambien mis amores!)
